Hello.

My name is Harry Hillman Chartrand.  I am a cultural economist and publisher of Compiler Press.  Among other things, Compiler Press specializes in copyright law - domestic and international.  It takes up where the lawyers leave off.  It titles and indexes the law allowing an 'at a glance' approach.  If one is interested, for example, in the term of protection granted to a motion picture (a "cinematograph" in legal terms), one can scan an index and find this information - at a glance.  A list of current publications is found under 3.0 Publications; research and consultancy services on offer, under 4.0 Services.

I am also Web Editor of this site - the World Cultural Intelligence Network (WCIN).  WCIN (pronounced 'wicken') is dedicated to documenting the socio-economic impact of the arts and culture world-wide.  A fuller explanation of WCIN will be found under 1.0 Rationale.  A full description of the widely defined arts and cultural industries will be found under 2.0 Arts Industry.

WCIN provides a number of FREE intelligence resources.  These will be found under 6.0 Archives and 7.0 Links.  Comments about, and contributions to, this site are warmly welcomed.  These should be directed to:
